The purpose of the Camp Dick Robinson Elementary Parent Teacher Organization, PTO, is to enhance home-school relations, encourage enthusiastic interest in the school and its students, and to lend support to the school and staff.
All parents of students currently attending Camp Dick Robinson Elementary as well as all faculty and staff of CDR shall be eligible for membership in CDR PTO. We also welcome grandparents, aunts, uncles, and legal guardians. We encourage each of you to become involved in CDR’s PTO by attending meetings and volunteering your time and talents.
Fundraising is the biggest duty of the PTO. State and Local education budgets are often cut and individual schools rely on their Parent Teacher Organizations to help supplement their budgets to support programs and activities that otherwise would not be possible. Our largest fund raiser each year is the Fall Festival which has been a huge success to date. We thank all volunteers who have contributed to its success.
