Junior American Citizens is the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution’s second oldest youth- oriented committee. The first club was organized in October 1901 “to teach… children some knowledge of the underlying principles of our government of American sentiment, and all that will go toward making good citizens.”
Each year the JAC committee sponsors a contest for young people from kindergarten to high school and all levels of special education. The 2014-15 theme was “Focus on the future.”
