Health and Physical Education

Class Description
This 12 week class is designed to give the student a deeper understanding and appreciation for Health and Physical Education. Students will spend 6 weeks in Health and 6 weeks in Physical Education class. We will create opportunities to learn from the standpoint of personal wellness, fitness and safety! The student will expand on their knowledge through hands on activities, cooperative learning, in and out of class assignments and test!

Archery, Badminton, Field Sports (Ultimate Frisbee, SpeedBall, BattleBall), Fitness, Pickle Ball, Tennis

Classroom Behavior Expectations                                     

  1. Be on time and prepared for class                    
  2. Follow adult directions the first time                           
  3. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself        
  4. Treat others as you want to be treated

Possible Consequences
In class time out, D- Hall (after school detention)
Student/Teacher Conference, Parent/Teacher Conference,
Office Referral, Lower Conduct Grade

All Garrard Middle School students are expected to follow the behavior expectations stated in the student agenda book. We have read, discussed and completed activities on these expectations during the first days of school.
