Hello! My name is Autumn Gorley, and I currently teach 1st grade at Camp Dick Robinson Elementary School. This is my fifth year teaching at CDR. While at CDR I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade. I grew up in Garrard county, and actually went to CDR as a child. I got my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2005 from Eastern Kentucky University. In May of 2013, I got my Master's degree from the University of the Cumberlands as a Reading and Writing Specialist.
I live in Gravel Switch with my husband Matthew and our two daughters Ella (6) and Emma (4). We live on farm in the country, and I love it! Ella is in 1st grade and Emma is in pre-school. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and relaxing at home with my girls.
I truly love teaching and enjoy going to work everyday. I love to see the growth a young child makes from August to May. It's truly amazing and very rewarding!
