The students from both Garrard County High School and Meadowthorpe Elementary School collected traditional family recipes. The recipes and their history were written down, and many of the students prepared the dishes and shared them with their respective classes. We really had to pace ourselves when sampling a little something from each student.
This area of the site is broken into two sections:
Recipes from Meadowthorpe Elementary School
and
Recipes from Garrard County High School
Special thanks go out to Shannon, Brandi, and Amy (A few of my student aides) for typing some of the recipes. More recipes will be added in the future.
