Superintendent Paul Mullins announced the selection today stating, “The SBDM council at Camp Dick Robinson was very diligent in their search for the next principal at CDR. Mr. Bolin is a person of high integrity, and it was evident that he is a hard-working individual who cares about kids. I believe he will make immediate positive connections with students, parents and staff members. Mr. Bolin’s passion for this school was obvious when he expressed his goals of being accessible and visible in the community. He also will be a positive addition to our administrative team comprised of principals and district support staff. Scott emphasized the value he places on relationships and positive communication which will translate into immediate success for him and the students, families and staff at Camp Dick Robinson Elementary School.”
Parent representative Karen Travis was also impressed with the positive communication skills of Scott Bolin, stating, “Mr. Bolin will continue to promote the family-friendly atmosphere that has been the tradition at CDR. I feel that he is a man of high character who already has a heart for our school. He will no doubt continue the student-centered traditions and improve on those in his tenure as principal of Camp Dick Robinson School.”
Whit Salyers, who also serves as a parent representative on the council agreed, “I couldn’t be more pleased with our selection for the new principal at CDR. There is no doubt that Mr. Bolin’s passion for CDR, the staff, students and the community will be evident as soon as everyone gets to meet him.”
