Garrard County High School would like to congratulate the nine Youth Ambassadors Leadership Conference award recipients Alyssa Atkins, Abigail Bailey, Natalie Clark, Wyatt Fielder, Emma Graham, Trenton Ison, Amanda Marrow, Sadie Shumaker, and Abigail Travis.
These students have shown exceptional promise, not only academically but also in their commitment to being ambassadors for their school and the broader community. The Youth Ambassador Leadership Conference is a non-partisan, educational experience designed for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who attend school in Kentucky’s Sixth Congressional District. This provides a way for students to hear directly from Kentucky's leaders while they serve as their schools ambassadors.
This bodes well for the future of the district and the state, as these young leaders are likely to play a pivotal role in shaping their communities and making a positive impact on the world. This kind of investment in youth leadership is an important step towards building a brighter and more engaged future for Kentucky.
This year's conference will be held at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton School of Business in Lexington on October 28th, 2023 from approximately 7:45 AM - 12:30 PM.
