Kentucky Summative Assessment results are in, and we want to be transparent about where Garrard Middle School stands and where we’re headed.
GMS received an ORANGE indicator rating on the 2026 KSA, with Reading proficiency decreasing 1 percentage point and Math decreasing 2 percentage points.
Our staff has identified key areas for growth and developed targeted plans to address those needs and strengthen student learning.
🟠 Implementing new Reading and Math instructional resources
🟠 Expanding teacher training and professional learning
🟠 Strengthening collaboration, lesson planning, and data driven instruction
🟠 Building student relationships, connectedness, and a sense of belonging
We recognize the challenges, but we’re focused on solutions.
