On Monday, July 28th, 2025, Garrard County Schools proudly hosted its inaugural Hall of Fame Banquet, a celebration of excellence and achievement that honored eight outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions in education, public service, medicine, athletics, and beyond. The event marked the beginning of what will be an annual tradition recognizing the exceptional alumni, educators, and leaders who have shaped the legacy of Garrard County Schools.
Held in a spirit of pride and gratitude, the evening began with a welcome from Superintendent Dr. Kevin Stull, followed by musical performances from musicians, Emerson Farrar, Andrew Peng, and Maia Smith. A blessing was offered by Dr. Jerry Browning, Chairman of the Board of Education, before guests enjoyed a dinner prepared and served by Keys and Crows.
Each Hall of Fame inductee was introduced by a person of their choosing and then offered time to speak and reflect on their careers, connections to Garrard County, and the meaning of the recognition. Inductees received a custom glass award and a signature Hall of Fame jacket as part of the ceremony.
