Mr. David Hoskins serves as the District Athletic Director. He is known to work many more hours than is required. Despite already going above and beyond, Mr. Hoskins has once again shown how critical he is to the success of Garrard County Athletics. Following the loss of the GMS gym floor, Mr. Hoskins had to work with high school and middle school districts across the region to reschedule basketball games. This meant numerous phone calls, emails, and texts to ensure the student athletes in Garrard County had the best solutions possible despite the loss of their home floor. To his credit, he successfully navigated all the challenges associated with the scheduling nightmare and with the help of some of his coaches, even arranged, at not cost, the use of Berea College’s floor for critical district games. This provided the athletes an opportunity not afforded to many high school students. He also successfully hosted official games at GCHS in the auxiliary gym. Thanks to Mr. Hoskins for his commitment to supporting all the athletes in the Garrard County Schools.
