This year, Ms. Poynter stepped into a new role—teaching not only 8th grade, but also taking on both math and science for our students. She has embraced this transition with natural ability, flexibility, and a true talent for delivering high-quality instruction every single day.
Ms. Poynter has worked diligently to implement effective co-teaching strategies within her co-teaching classrooms, collaborating seamlessly with her fellow teachers to provide students with meaningful support. Whether she is teaching math or science, she creates an active and engaging learning environment where all students can be successful.
We are incredibly blessed to have Ms. Poynter as part of our GMS team. Her dedication, positivity, and passion for teaching shine through in everything she does, and we love getting to see her practice her craft each day.
