Congratulations to first graders Lakelynn Gayhart for being crowned Little Miss Kentucky last weekend! Lakelynn completed amongst 48 other girls to win this title. WOW! We are proud of you!

Friday Food Drive Update!
We are blown away by the donations brought in this week! Thank you so much for about CDR Family Support! This week Mrs. Stein's preschool class takes the lead with 233 items! WOW! Mrs. Moore's 2nd Grade class is in 2nd place with 100 items and Mrs. Travis's 3rd grade class is in 3rd with 64 items.
So far we have collected 769 items total to donate to our local Food Bank!
WAY TO GO CDR! We will continue to collect items through Friday, December 5th.

Back-to-back BLUE very high performing school status! 👏🔵 Maintaining very high performance with an overall score of 86.8, CDR continues to show impressive growth:
Reading: Novice cut in half, down to 8%
Writing: Proficiency increased from 63% to 80%
Math: Since 2022, proficiency up 13% and novice down 12%

This Wednesday will be our 3rd Wellness Wednesday.
Reminder: Staff & Students will be encouraged to dress in attire that reflects Physical Wellness (sports jerseys, work out attire, hats, sweatshirts, etc...) Students will be participating in a brief lesson focusing on different aspects of wellness each month. This month's focus is Gratitude and Mental Wellbeing!

At the end of week 1, Mrs. Lanigan's 2nd Grade Homeroom takes the lead for 1st place in our competition with 37 items. Ms. Bell's 1st grade class comes in 2nd place with 21 items, and Ms. Smiths Kindergarten class is in 3rd place with 18 items.
Keep bringing in those donations - we will give another update next Friday!
We will be accepting donations through December 5th.

We are partnering with the UK Extension Office for a Food Drive November 10th - December 5th. This is a competition! The class with the most items donated will win a class pizza party the week of December 15th - 19th.
We will give an update on classroom leaders each Friday afternoon.
Items will be placed in foyer weekly so students can see the magnitude of items being donated through the whole school.
