Garrard County High School will celebrate America 250 on April 21 from 5:30–7:30PM at the GCHS Library Media Center and Sports Complex!👏🇺🇸
The Garrard County community is invited to attend and take part in an evening of student showcases and activities. The JROTC will present the colors, and the GCHS choir will perform the National Anthem at 6PM to kick off the baseball and softball doubleheader against Danville. The GCHS tennis team will also compete against Somerset Christian beginning at 5:30PM.
Inside the Library Media Center, guests can view an art exhibition and student displays centered on the America 250 theme, including artwork created in response to the prompt, “What does America mean to you?” Student work from Social Studies, Business, Multimedia, and Poetry Club will also be featured.
Refreshments will be provided by GCHS culinary students, and music will be performed by GCHS band ensembles.
