Tonight's District Championship games (Softball and Baseball) have been postponed.
Games will now be played tomorrow, Wednesday, May 17th 2023 at 7:00PM.
Tonight, Garrard County High School will be hosting the first round of the District Tournament for Softball and Baseball. Both the Lady Lions and the Golden Lions play the second game (8PM or 30mins after the first game concludes).
Important Tournament Information:
Students DO NOT get free admission to the district tournaments held at Garrard County for baseball and softball.
Everyone 12 and older must pay $6 admission at the gate and students 11 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
No coaches cards or other passes will be accepted for admission.
Only two weeks left to order a yearbook. Yearbooks can be ordered online at jostensyearbooks.com or in the library.

The KY High School All State Art Competition was held this past weekend at the Hellmann Creative Center in Covington, KY. Congratulations to Jillian Long on receiving Honorable Mention in Sculpture and Abigail Keith on being awarded first place in Fiber Arts and Textiles.
Congratulations to the following students for earning the KHSAA Triple Threat Award. The Triple Threat Award is presented to student-athletes who compete in a KHSAA sport or sport-activity across all three seasons for 2022-2023.
Garrard County High School recently hosted their Ghost Out Program. A guest, dressed as the Grim Reaper, stalked the hallways of the Garrard County High School and selected fourteen âvictimsâ. These âvictimsâ represented the average number of people killed in alcohol or drug-related crashes during the school day and were declared âdeceasedâ. A memorial service was conducted for the fourteen âvictimsâ during the afternoon assembly, with the students of GCHS in attendance.
Thank you to our Garrard County Youth Services Center, Garrard County, Davis Shepherd, ASAP (Agency Substance Abuse Policy), MADD (Mother Against Drunk Drives), GCHS TATU Club (Teens Against Tobacco Use), Garrard County Coronerâs Office, Garrard County Sheriffâs Office, Lancaster Police Department, Kentucky Office of Highway Safety and First Responders for working together to address drug and alcohol abuse among our young people today. #gcsproud
