Today we are celebrating Danny Daugherty (5th Grade) for going above and beyond! 👏
Danny took the initiative to help our custodians clean the cafeteria this morning — without even being asked. That kind of kindness, responsibility, and leadership does not go unnoticed!
We are SO proud of you, Danny! 💚
✨ Keep leading the way and showing what it means to be a Lancaster Leopard!

Today at Lancaster Elementary, we celebrate the HEART of our school… our incredible Para-Educators!
They are the quiet strength behind the scenes, the steady hands, the calm voices, and the biggest cheerleaders for our students.
They step in wherever needed, love our kids like their own, and make a difference in ways that can’t always be measured—but are felt every single day.
Because of YOU…
💚 Students feel safe
💚 Students feel supported
💚 Students believe in themselves
You don’t just help in classrooms…
✨ You change lives. ✨
We see you.
We appreciate you.
We are BETTER because of you.
Drop a 💚 below to help us celebrate these amazing humans today!

📦🐾 Learning comes to life at LES! 🐾📦
Our 5th grade Leopards have been hard at work combining creativity + math skills in the best way! 🎉
As part of their learning on volume, students designed and built their very own cardboard animals 🐘🦒🐢—thinking through size, space, and structure every step of the way.
Not only did they show off their understanding of math concepts, but they also impressed us with their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork! 💚
We are so proud of the effort and imagination these students put into their projects. Take a look at their AMAZING work! 👇✨

LEO THE LEOPARD!!!
Avery Hensley earned a LEO the Leopard Award today for going above and beyond to help a classmate. When she noticed another student struggling in class, she immediately pulled up a chair and helped them finish their work. We are so proud of her kindness and leadership! 🐆💚

Since Pi Day (3.14) falls on Saturday, we’re celebrating a day early on Friday at LES!
Students are invited to wear their favorite pajamas to school as we celebrate the magic of numbers and the amazing number π (pi) that helps us understand circles and measurements all around us.
Teachers may choose to do some fun Pi Day activities such as:

Today we are recognizing Kolton Miller for going above and beyond!
Kolton showed great kindness today by holding the office door open for a teacher. Small acts like this make a big difference and help make Lancaster Elementary a wonderful place to learn and work.
