Paint Lick Elementary is an extraordinary place. Our school enjoys a rich tradition of excellence that our students, staff, parents, and community members are proud of. Our success is evident in our recognitions as a Distinguished school and a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, but also clear the minute one enters the building. Garrard County School System serves approximately 2500 students in Pre-K through twelfth grade. The three elementary schools are high-performing institutions preparing our students in grades Pre-K through five to enter middle school with strong basic skills and a broad knowledge of the state and national standards in core academic areas.
