Garrard County Schools are hiring Student Summer Workers to begin work on June 6th, 2022 with our Maintenance and Custodial departments. Students who are interested (must be at least 16 years old) can find the application on their Grade Google Classrooms. If interested, be sure to submit the application ASAP!

Garrard County Schools would like to welcome Mr. Mark Scenters as the new Assistant Principal of Garrard County High School!

Tonight we recognized the GMS Academic Team for all of their recent accomplishments!
The GMS Academic Team had over 60 members. They were the district champions overall and saw 17/18 testers qualify for regional competition. The team won every district championship except one. The problem solving and quick recall teams were also district champions. The GMS Team was also overall Regional Runners-up and had the regional champion in Arts (Emorie Martin), Science (Colin Gilbert), and ELA(Olivia Denny). 6 individuals and our problem-solving team advanced to State. Our 6th Grade team also placed as Runner Up and Emorie Martin placed 6th overall in the state on the 6th grade test.

A bittersweet night as we recognize our 2021-22 retirees. Garrard County Schools will definitely miss these staff members, but we are excited for them as they begin their next chapter.
