🗓️Snow Day Make-Up Update: Today’s snow day will be made up on Friday, March 13, 2026, which is now an instructional day. As a reminder, Monday, February 16, 2026 (Presidents’ Day) is also now an instructional day.

📅 Calendar Update: The Board has approved Monday, February 16th, 2026 (Presidents’ Day) as a make-up day for this week’s snow day, and it is now an Instructional Day.

We will be closely monitoring power outages overnight. If outages increase significantly, we will transition to a traditional snow day. In that event, families will receive an additional text and phone call, and updates will be posted on our website and social media platforms.

Now Hiring: Autism & Behavior Specialist 📢 Garrard County Schools is seeking an Autism & Behavior Specialist to support students with disabilities across all grade levels. This role includes conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), collaborating in ARC/IEP meetings, providing direct support for students with challenging behaviors, and offering professional learning for staff and families. If you’re passionate about evidence-based practices, teamwork, and helping every student succeed, we’d love for you to join our GCS team.
