Yesterday at CDR, Mrs. Johnson's 5th Grade class applied their knowledge of the different parts of speech as they played BINGO and competed against each other!





Mrs. Henderson's 5th Grade class at LES- where science is fun! Students were working collaboratively in teams to compete- while answering questions about bodies of water and different types of rocks! 🪨💦🪨💦🪨💦

Paint Lick Elementary spent time celebrating their students yesterday! Students received awards for positive character, iReady scores, effort, etc. We are proud of these students!

This week Mrs. Arnold's Nutrition and Foods class spent time on knife safety and practiced different cutting techniques. They even incorporated technology in the kitchen so students could see a more detailed view of Mrs. Arnold's demonstrations!

Mrs. Huff's student teacher, Ms. Elle, designed a new vocabulary lesson for their GMS students to complete! Students used brainstorming and researching skills to match new vocabulary terms to definitions and examples! Engaging way to introduce students to new terms!

Garrard County Schools would like to welcome Mr. Scotty Merida back to the district! Mr. Merida will be stepping in as interim Assistant Principal of GMS for the remainder of the school year.

April 1st will now be a regular instruction day with students.
May 17th will now be a Staff Day-no students.
